Music: Power by Little Mix

I just want to be honest, but I think these girls are more talented when it comes to singing, dancing and performing live than the Spice Girls. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Spice Girls fan back when I was little. But, let's all admit it, Spice Girls aren't that talented in singing. And the only member whom I can say who's got nice vocals is Mel C. While in Little Mix, all the girls can SLAY your idols.

Some said there is no need to compare, but my point is, these girls deserve global recognition. They are underrated. Other groups are way popular than they are even when these popular groups do not even have a talent to boot. People should be aware of how talented Little Mix are.

I hope by this song, Little Mix have finally conquered the US and the world. Jesy, Leigh-Ann, Jade and Perrie are totally slaying!

Anyway, this song tells about women empowerment! I'mma make this as my life's OST. Hihi

"Power"

Hold up, no you didn't bow, bow
I ain't the chick to walk behind you around town
Just cause you're packin', packin', whoop, down south
That don't mean I'm ever gonna take it laying down, baby
Oh I'm a machine when I do it
I'll be catching fire, gasoline when I do it
Just cause you're packin', packin', whoop, down south
That don't mean I'm ever gonna take it laying down

Baby, you're the man
But I got the, I got the, I got the power
You make rain
But I'll make it, I'll make it, I'll make it shower
You should know, I'm the one who's in control
I'll let you come take the wheel, long as you don't forget

Who got the power?
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
Hold up!

My turn
I make this look easy
Tick Tick boom like gasoline-y
Yeah they call me Lamborghini
Cause I know just what I'm worth
Z-z-zero to hundred
B-b-body make' em stutter
Start my engine, push the button
Cause I'm gon' be coming first
Yeah, I'm a machine when I do it
I'll be catching fire, gasoline when I do it
Just cause you're packin', packin', whoop, down south
That don't mean I'm ever gonna take it laying down

Baby, you're the man
But I got the, I got the, I got the power
You make rain
But I'll make it, I'll make it, I'll make it shower
You should know, I'm the one who's in control
I'll let you come take the wheel, long as you don't forget

Who got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the
Who got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the
Who got the power

Don't be fooled, I got you wrapped up
In the arms of an animal
Got you thinking that I'm all innocent
But wait 'till I get you home
If you don't baby you should know
I'm the one who's in control
Motorbike, motorbike, motorbike, motorbike
Bike, bike, bike, bike
Bike, bike, bike, bike, bike, bike, whoop

You're the man
But I got the, I got the, I got the power
You make rain
But I'll make it, I'll make it, I'll make it shower
You should know, I'm the one who's in control
I'll let you come take the wheel, long as you don't forget
You're the man
But I got the, I got the, I got the power
You make rain
But I'll make it, I'll make it, I'll make it shower
You should know, I'm the one who's in control
I'll let you come take the wheel, long as you don't forget

I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
Cause I got, I got, I got the power
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
Baby don't forget I got the power, yeah
The power yeah, yeah-eh

Motorbike, motorbike, motorbike, motorbike
Bike, bike, bike, bike
Bike, bike, bike, bike, bike, bike, whoop

Happy 36th Birthday, Tom!

So today is the 36th birthday of the man I immensely adore. For me, Tom Hiddleston is the perfect English gentleman. He's like the hero in the Historical Romance novel I always read. Tom is not just good looking, he also has the kindest heart. He's someone young boys should look up to. Not being biased here, I'm just telling the truth! Once you get to know him, of how sincere and adorable he is, I bet you'd fall in love with him too.

And I wish I could find someone like Tom... haaaay.

A man who loves to read books get my 1000000000 x points. Who doesn't love men who read books, right?
After this dinner date, I'd bring Tom to our house so he could meet my family. Hihi.
The suit looks like a suit for a stylish salary man. But he nails it~ Tom Hiddleston as a sophisticated salary man.
My dearest Tom, Happiest birthday to you. May you find all the happiness in the world you deserve. Congrats again on your Best Actor win at the Golden Globes! May you bag more acting awards in the future. And I'll be patiently waiting for the day that you will get your first Oscars. Good luck on your future projects and hopefully you'll get more credits for your dedication as an actor and passion for advocacies.

I love you, Tom! I'll always be your fan. ♥

Love Always,

Obsession version 6: Queen & Freddie Mercury

Queen in 1975
(From L-R: Roger Taylor -drummer; Freddie Mercury - vocals;
Brian May - guitars and John Deacon - bass)

I've always loved the band QUEEN and Freddie Mercury. And Freddie is the greatest showman, performer and singer for me in the entire universe. *hands down*. Close contender would be Michael Jackson. Hihi.

Anyway, aside from the song "Bohemian Rhapsody", the song "It's A Hard Life" (1984) from their album The Works (1984) would definitely be my next favorite QUEEN song of all time. The lyrics is just so beautiful. And the live performance of this song is also my favorite.

Gahd, I'm so obsessed with this band and their songs. They are truly wonderful. It just sucks that I've never got the chance to see him/them live. I wish I've lived in the era where great music exists. Yes I'm talking about 60s-80s music. Well, 90s was the era I grew up with and I can say that the music was fairly good. But if I get to choose what era I wish to live in in terms of music, I'd definitely choose the time The Beatles and Queen made great music for people to listen to. I guess I'm really an old soul. :)

Well, if you haven't heard the song or seen the music video and live performance of this song, let me share it with you, guys. One should be sharing good music to the world. ;)

MUSIC : Little Mix

Hello, guys!

I just realized that I never fangirl-ed any US or American girl group in my whole my "fangirling" career / life. It's always been the British ones way back from my elementary days. From Spice Girls to All Saints to B*Witched. Oh, wait, B*witched is actually a group from Ireland. LOL.

Little Mix from left to right : Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards

I have a new favorite girl group / girl band! It's none other than LITTLE MIX! It's been a long time since I liked a girl group and now I found Little Mix--- a group composed of:

 Perrie Edwards

 Jade Thirlwall

Jesy Nelson

 Leigh-Anne Pinnock

and I can't get enough of their music.  I discovered them last week on Spotify and I got hooked on them right away with the song LOVE ME LIKE YOU. I search for their music video on YouTube and I find LOVE ME LIKE YOU's MV cute and my instant love for them solidified and instantly became a fan. So on Saturday, I downloaded their discography and listened to all their albums which I can totally say that they have good music. Every albums (DNA, SALUTE and GET WEIRD) were really nice. And I like most of their songs.  I feel that I can easily connect with their songs. And you know, aside from their wonderful and lovely songs, I am amazed by the girls' voices. Especially Perrie Edwards! So far, she's my favorite member. Aside from being so stunning, she's got an amazing vocal power. I can't help but love her.

Day by day, this girl group is growing on me. I've been listening to Get Weird for five consecutive days. And that's a sign. I think I'm going to fall in love with them more and more.

Anyway, for those who didn't have any idea about Little Mix, you could watch their live performance of their song Secret Love Song feat. Jason Derulo in this video. And you'll see how amazing this group is! :)

Film : Triangle (2009)

Triangle (2009)
Written and Directed  by: Christopher Smith

Starring: Melissa George, Michael Dorman, Rachael Carpani, Emma Lung and Liam Hemsworth

I watched this movie together with my family and Ate's boyfriend. Since, Ate's bf is into psychological movies like me, we decided to watch this film amongst all the other movies he brought along with him. Well, I couldn't say it's the BEST movie I've seen so far, but I definitely liked this. You know when you're watching psychological themed films, questions will always pop into your head (I've been saying this a lot of times). And as a matter of fact, I'm still quite puzzled with this movie till now. I'm not sure if my assumptions were right. LOL. And tell yah what, I barely slept the night after watching this movie. The scenes keep on flashing in my head, and I even dreamed about this. I was part of the movie daw! Ang saya, diba? LOL.

I am not familiar with the cast, except for Liam Hemsworth. The lead actress, Melissa George looks like Rachel McAdams, I thought it was her when I first saw the trailer on YouTube. In all fairness to Ms. George, she's a good actress. She's quite convincing as a... uhm... A psychotic.. disturbed bitch? LOL. Her character Jess, is a fierce bitch. I love the part when she's battling with her "other self". I'm not going into details with this one because it might spoil you! All I can say is this film is an interesting one. And after you watched it, it might give you a lot of questions too.

Rating: 7 out of 10 stars.

BBC's The Hollow Crown

I've always been fascinated with history especially the British monarchy. I'm currently watching this made-for-TV-movie, BBC's "The Hollow Crown". The major factor why I'm watching this series is all because of my dear Tom Hiddleston. I am bored with most of the parts (LOL) but when Tom flashes on my TV screen, the boredom fades away instantly :D. That's how amazing he is. He makes a boring series or movie interesting for me. I sound biased but that's just the way I feel. I love Tom Hiddleston and I think he's an awesome actor. He got skillz yah know!
