63rd Miss Universe is Colombia's Paulina Vega!

Kinda late post~

I'm not surprised that Colombia won the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant held in Doral, Miami, Florida. From the start, she was predicted to be the emerging winner in the said beauty pageant by lots of pageant enthusiast in the forum I frequented.

Paulina Vega's catwalk and body is such perfection!

I'm not a fan of Paulina but I admit that she is such a real beauty and I really think that she deserved winning the Miss Universe title. She is feisty, pretty, sexy, fierce, and charming on stage. It is only the second time her county bagged the Miss Universe crown. The last time Colombia won was in 1958.

Isn't she lovely? Congrats, Paulina Vega of Colombia!! :) I hope she will have a memorable reign as Miss Universe.

P/S the new crown ~ DIC crown looks like a kryptonite. LOL wth. seriously, Mr. Trump?

I love Bart Baker!

Everytime I would hear the song Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, I would burst out laughing because Bart Baker's parody of this song would  instantly came into my mind. And because of Bart Baker, I'm kinda liking the song Blurred Lines and I've downloaded the song so I could hear it over and over again. I know I'm late again, this song was released in 2013. 

And aside from that Robin Thicke song, We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus has been on my playlist on a loop these past few days. And it's all because of Bart Baker's parody of that song. Bart's lyrics are so damn funny that everytime I would think about it, I couldn't help myself in a giggling fit. And I never thought I could ever like a Miley song other than Party in the USA.

In this Maroon 5 parody, Bart Baker is also super funny! And he totally got the Adam Levine look~ thanks to the one who did his makeup.

I can't remember when exactly I started watching Bart Baker parodies, but I think I was watching Ariana Grande's music videos and then I accidentally clicked a parody of Ariana's "Problem". It was so funny that I was laughing in the middle of the night.Then I browsed Bart's channel and found his other videos. That's how it started. I always always make it a point to watch these parody videos every single day. LOL

Hindi alam ni Marla kung matatawa o magagalit sa kanyang ama nang sabihin nito na ipapakasal siya sa anak ng best friend nito. At dahil mukhang desidido ang kanyang ama sa pinaplano ay naglayas si Marla sa kanila.
Dahil sa labis na sama ng loob at kadesperaduhan ay naisipan niyang maglasing sa isang bar para pawiin ang lungkot at sama ng loob. And then she met Micky, the man who sat next to her. And one thing lead to another. She spent the rest of the night with him in his hotel suite!
Ang akala ni Marla ay hindi na muling magtatagpo ang mga landas nila ni Micky. But she got the biggest irony of her life! Because the man whom she refused to get married to was the same man she had a one-night stand with!
Unti-unting nahulog ang loob ni Marla kay Micky sa mga araw na lagi niyang kasama ang binata. Ngunit naputol ang lahat ng sayang naramdaman niya nang malaman ang pinakatatagong sekreto ng binata—matagal nang mahal ni Micky ang stepsister nito…

Woot! Woot! Finally, after 8 months, lumabas na ang story ni Micky at Marla! Yehey! :D I'm so happy! I did not expect that it would get released the first month of the year! :D  Ilang buwan ko ba naman hinintay na magkaroon ng released. I always loved the feeling of having a new published book.

In fairness, I love the cover. Just like sa cover nung Once And For Always, gandara din ang isang 'to! Thank you so much sa gumawa ng book cover ko!

This is so far my first 144 pages book. Inabot ba naman ng 33k ang word count nito. Hihi. Well, ginusto ko rin naman magkaroon ng mahaba-habang book, not the usual 126-128 pages we usually have in PHR. Anyway, the hero in this novel, Micky is Louise's stepbrother in Once And For Always. And he is also inspired from the Micky Yoochun or known in the korean drama world as Park Yoochun. And the heroine Marla, is Liza Soberano. Hahaha. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love and adore Liza loves.

At dahil excited akong mabasa ang book version ng nobelang ito, I bought a copy last Saturday and started reading it. Natuwa naman ako, tho may mga editing na parang napapangiwi ako. Hehe. I found lots of typos. Which makes me really really sad. A book version should have been perfect na di ba? But what can I do, it's already printed. Okay pa rin naman ang kinalabasan at natutuwa naman ako. :)

TRIVIA:

Michael "Micky" Fajardo : inspired of Micky Yoochun of JYJ formerly from TVXQ :). Not my bias, but I kinda like him especially his singing voice. Micky in this novel is an architect-- which is really far from the real Micky Yoochun. Hahaha. Tbh, hindi ko nakuha ang pagka-Micky Yoochun ng Micky sa nobela na ito kompara kay Jaeden na Jaejoong talaga. Siyempre bias ko naman si Jaejoong kaya mas kilala ko ang personality niya. Hehe! I just wish na matuwa pa rin ang Cassies (if ever they get to read this novel) sa Micky ng nobelang ito.

Marine Lara "Marla" Soberano : I love the name "Marla". Bagay sa maganda at maarte. LOL. Hindi ko naman sinasabing maarte ang character kong si Marla, hehe. Medyo girly lang siya. At so far siya ang "girly" na character ko. At dahil inspired si Marla kay Liza Soberano, Marla here is also half-American, grew up in California. Basta habang sinusulat ko ang istoryang ito, si Liza ang nasa isip ko. Sobrang nagagandahan talaga ako sa kanya. Anyway, Marla's job is a freelance makeup artist-- inspired sa bff kong makeup artist. :)

Supporting characters :

Jaeden and Louise Lagdameo : Micky's brother-in-law and stepsister. They are my characters in my 2nd PHR novel, Once And For Always.

Ellen Sarrosa: Micky's mom. A former professor. Nabanggit ko rin siya ng slight sa story ni Louise.

Miguel Soberano : a heart surgeon and Marla's father.

Via : Marla's cousin and bff. she's also a make-up artist.

Justin : Micky's friend. He's an engineer working in Micky's company. Ang peg naman ni Justin ay si Kim Junsu or Xiah Junsu. If you're a fan of TVXQ or JYJ you know who I am talking about. Justin was supposed to be named "Xander". Pero nagbago ang isip ko, parang mas bagay na Justin siya. Yeah.

Nakakaloka!

Hindi ko alam kung matatawa , maiinis o maaliw ako sa dalawang taong nag-pm sa akin sa facebook.

Iyong isa, sa tingin ko naman, mas okay siya, kasi ang bungad sa akin, kung ako raw ba writer ng *Once…* ng Precious Hearts Romances. Sinagot ko naman ang tanong niya at itinama ang maling title na binigay niya. Ang nakakaloka lang, after no’n nagtanong na ng mga personal questions. And I was like, “wow, makatanong parang close friends kami,” but anyway, since I’m generally nice to people, sinagot ko pa rin ang mga personal question niya.

Tapos iyong isa namang nag-pm sa akin, nagulat naman ako kasi, personal question agad ang tanong, eh ang kaso mo, first time lang siya nag-pm sa akin at never naman kaming nagkausap kahit sa mga status ko sa fb, never naman siyang nag-comment. Tapos ibubungad sa akin, personal question? Natawa na lang ako kaysa mainis. And again, since I’m generally a nice person, sinagot ko pa rin ang personal na tanong niya.

Hindi naman ako mataray sa mga nagpi-pm sa akin, unless boys ang magtatanong ng personal questions, naiirita talaga ako. LOL. Anyway, napapaisip din ako. Bakit bigla na lang ako tatanungin ng mga personal na bagay, eh, hindi naman kami magkakilala? Puwedeng mag-ice breaker muna? Ang weird lang kasi na tatanungin ako ng mga tanong na, “ taga-saan ka po? May asawa ka na ba?” etc.

Hello?! Reader at fan din ako ng mga writer pero sa natatandaan ko, never naman ako nagtanong sa mga idols ko about their personal stuffs. Kung may asawa na sila or ilan na ang anak. Kahit curious din ako, hindi ko naman itatanong ang bagay na iyon. Well, nalalaman ko rin ang ilang impormasyon sa kanila kapag madalas ko nang nakakausap. Sa tingin ko kasi hindi tama iyon lalo na at kung hindi naman kayo close ng taong tinatanong mo.

Haay, life. Tatawa na lang ako kaysa ang mairita.

Napansin kong kaunti lang ang blog entries ko for 2014... why, oh, why? Tamad much?

Hello! Bagong taon na naman! Ang bilis talaga ng panahon, tatanda na naman ako. phew!

Anyhoo...

It's not that I'm being ungrateful but I could say that my 2014 was not that GREAT (meaning, hindi siya kasing colorful ng mga ibang taon sa buhay ko.). I can't remember the highlight of my 2014. LOL. But of course, I'm very thankful of all the blessings I've received this year. I'm happy being happy with my family and friends. Pero alam mo `yung parang may kulang pero hindi mo alam kung ano `yung kulang na `yon. Basta parang ganon yung pakiramdam ko. At yung first ever out of the country travel ko sana ay napurnada! Ayoko nang sabihin dito kung bakit, kasi medyo nakakainis lang din alalahanin.

Oh yeah, the nice thing about last year was that I was able to have 2 approved manuscripts! Masaya ako na na-achieved ko `yan bilang dakilang tamad akong magsulat. But the sad thing was, I did not have a published book for 2014. Medyo umasa ako na mare-release na si Micky before December ends pero waley pala. Anyway, okay na rin iyon at least, sabi ko nga may aabangan akong dalawang nobela sa 2015. At sana magdadagan pa `yan.

Hindi ako mahilig gumawa ng new year's resolution kasi alam ko naman na hindi ko magagawa, but this time, I wanted to take actions on the NY's resolution I'm going to make this year. *crossing fingers*. I will try my best to lose weight because I'm so overweight na. Imagine, inabot na ako ng 71 kilos no'ng last time mag-check ako ng timbang. Nakakaloka. Ayokooooo nitooooo! Huhu. Kaya naman, I enrolled in a gym. Sabay kami ng friend ko. At nakakatuwa ang workout na pinili namin kasi feeling ko maa-achieved ko ang katawang Adriana Lima o Candice Swanepoel. Wow! Ambisyosa ko lang. Pero malay mo naman kung masisipag talaga ko, di ba? Basta, I'm happy naman sa napili kong workout. Kakaririn namin `to ng friend ko. Haha! Kapag ako pumayat, HU U sila sa aking lahat! LOL.

And I wish to write more novels this year. haha! wish me luck! Sisipagan ko talaga magsulat ngayon kahit weekdays, kasehodang mapuyat pa ako. XD And please pray for Yuan's story to be approved. I've already started writing his story with Cassie. :)

-- I hope to be more patient with people. Most of the time, people are annoying, eh. At wish ko rin na mas tumibay pa ang relationship ko kay God. 

Ay oo nga pala, I'm looking forward to the concerts I'm gonna be attending on March! Weee~!
