Queen in 1975 (From L-R: Roger Taylor -drummer; Freddie Mercury - vocals; Brian May - guitars and John Deacon - bass) |
I've always loved the band QUEEN and Freddie Mercury. And Freddie is the greatest showman, performer and singer for me in the entire universe. *hands down*. Close contender would be Michael Jackson. Hihi.
Anyway, aside from the song "Bohemian Rhapsody", the song "It's A Hard Life" (1984) from their album The Works (1984) would definitely be my next favorite QUEEN song of all time. The lyrics is just so beautiful. And the live performance of this song is also my favorite.
Gahd, I'm so obsessed with this band and their songs. They are truly wonderful. It just sucks that I've never got the chance to see him/them live. I wish I've lived in the era where great music exists. Yes I'm talking about 60s-80s music. Well, 90s was the era I grew up with and I can say that the music was fairly good. But if I get to choose what era I wish to live in in terms of music, I'd definitely choose the time The Beatles and Queen made great music for people to listen to. I guess I'm really an old soul. :)
Well, if you haven't heard the song or seen the music video and live performance of this song, let me share it with you, guys. One should be sharing good music to the world. ;)
