Obsession version 6: Queen & Freddie Mercury

I've always loved the band QUEEN and Freddie Mercury. And Freddie is the greatest showman, performer and singer for me in the entire universe. *hands down*. Close contender would be Michael Jackson. Hihi.

Anyway, aside from the song "Bohemian Rhapsody", the song "It's A Hard Life" (1984) from their album The Works (1984) would definitely be my next favorite QUEEN song of all time. The lyrics is just so beautiful. And the live performance of this song is also my favorite.

Gahd, I'm so obsessed with this band and their songs. They are truly wonderful. It just sucks that I've never got the chance to see him/them live. I wish I've lived in the era where great music exists. Yes I'm talking about 60s-80s music. Well, 90s was the era I grew up with and I can say that the music was fairly good. But if I get to choose what era I wish to live in in terms of music, I'd definitely choose the time The Beatles and Queen made great music for people to listen to. I guess I'm really an old soul. :)

Woot! Woot! For the 4th time, my favorite rock band of all-time will be having a concert in Manila! And this time, it's going to be in Mall of Asia Arena!! My friend and I were so excited that we already purchase a ticket last week, Wednesday. Yipee yo! We're going to see Incubus for the 3rd time!!! And... it's just a day after Ed Sheeran's concert on the same venue. We are concert hopping! LOL

I think, the band has a new album, set for release next year. I hope so. Incubus aren't having a world tour if they don't have a new album.

Favorite Aerosmith Songs & Music Videos

Before I started drooling over Asian idols, I am a big fan of rock music since I was fifteen. Yes, I'm a rocker chick by heart and it never changed.

A couple days ago, I started listening again to Aerosmith. I've known them since I was in grade school. They're the best selling rock group in the world if you didn't know yet. Anyway, I'm an occasional fan of this band. Occasional? Yes, because I'm not a hardcore fan of them like I am with Incubus. And what is a hardcore fan? For me,  a hardcore fan is the kind of fan who has been there since the start, the kind of fan who supports and purchases all the group's albums,singles and DVDs ( like I do for Arashi and Incubus :p), going to their every concert or gigs. I don't know what's a hardcore fan for you, it's up to your own definition, right? hihi!

So yeah, I don't really consider myself the biggest fan of Aerosmith but I really admire, respect and like them especially their music. Sometimes I really really like them, and sometimes, deadma lang. lol. That's why I'm calling myself an occasional fan.
