The Love That Fades Away...

It's been awhile since I last posted in this blog. it's more than 2 months i think. Got too lazy to write and update. Anyway, so many things has had happened during the past months in my fangirl life. I don't know if it's worth saying this here. It isn't much of a big deal, it's just that I've already changed bias in the original line-up of Dong Bang Shin Ki. From a Hero Jaejoong biased, I'm now a Max Changmin biased and totally loving it ^^. And I'm learning to move on from the Kim Jaejoong craze I was having for one whole year. Too many things, had changed and all I can say is, I cannot look at Jaejoong the same way before.

You could say I'm crazy for feeling this way for a certain Pop Idol in my age. I'm already 25 and yet I behave like an idol-crazed teenager. I don't know, I've always been like this since I started fangirling at age 10, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Hanson era. I've always believe that "once a fangirl, will always be a fangirl." <-- can't remember where I got this from :p but anyway, going back to the Jaejoong story, yes, he isn't my bias anymore.

I know I've said cheesy things, like he'll always be my no.1 and blah blah.. but yeah, things turn differently, when someone you loved and adored so dearly disappointed you so much :(.  If any Kim Jaejoong, Hero Jaejoong fans would come across here and read this blog entry, she could definitely guess why this happened to me. All I can say is, when that love and adoration reached its ending, it didn't happen instantly. It was more like a process.

My love for Jaejoong is still there, of course, it doesn't go away suddenly, right? Most especially, being emotionally attached to him for one year, though, it isn't as intense as it used to be.

So yeah, I attended a writing workshop last Saturday at Callospa Resort in Antipolo. It was for free and it's sponsored by the publishing company Bookware Publishing. I've actually published a book from them last year, it was the reason I was invited for this workshop :D

The place was kinda far, it was a good thing we have a service provided by the company. It was also really nice and peaceful and blah blah blah :)

I've met a lot of awesome writers who have already established a career in writing and I can help but feel a little envious because I've wanted to be one too! Some are really young, i think. I'm assuming I'm older by 2 years or so. Some have an approved manuscript and are waiting to be published. We were composed of 16 participants.

The workshop was conducted by two facilitators; Miss Apple and Miss Elvie who are both editors for My Special Valentine. Miss Elvie tackled about How to write a romance novel. It was more like a refresher to me since I'm already aware of what she had discussed because I have attended a romance writing workshop similar to that almost 3 years ago. For Miss Apple, about how to write, the do's and don'ts of writing a Desire novel, an imprint of My Special Valentine. I fondly call Desire novel as the "red book" or "aklat na pula". Why "Red Book" or "Aklat na Pula"? It's because the cover of the said book is red. 

I've always dreamed of writing a novel for this imprint. I think it's COOL. I'm exposed to reading a lot of mature novels and recently been addicted to reading fanfictions (Jaejoong's to be more specific) in the SMUT genre. But I don't have the courage to write because I know I'm not good in writing love scenes or sexy scenes in a novel.  I'm actually not good in writing in general! I'm just a trying hard one! LOL. I've tried writing a smut fanfic though, it was for MatsuJun! And it was so hard! 

We did a lot of Activity in the workshop. It's sooooo fun but I admit it wasn't easy for me. I was forced to squeeze the creative juices in my brain...if I have any. The last activity we did was to write a love scene from the three video clips from the movies that were presented to us: The Notebook, Kim Basinger and Micky Roarke movie (which I can't recall the title), and Scent of a Woman (Korean drama, starring Kim SunAh and Lee DongWook). I chose Scent of  a Woman. I think I've written a really nice pre-lovescene scene but wasn't able to write the "kaganapan" or the act of love scene. I find it hard to write it on the spot, to be really honest. Mind wasn't functioning on that time /sigh.

 I really want to try writing a Desire novel and I want to know how to write it in the right way that's why I participated in this workshop. I really admire the romance writers who conveys this genre with the characters doing "it" not just for the sake of doing "it" but as a reader you feel the love, passion, lust, desire, romance between the hero and heroine when you're reading them. I want  to write a really nice love scene not just for the heck of writing it. I've wanted to write a mature story just like my favorite romance writers. If that happens, I'm sure, my heart would definitely soar with pride. And Oh, Miss Apple told us that the Desire imprint is the most in-demand books on their company that's why they're encouraging the writers to write for this imprint.

After, I finish the revision of my manuscript for the other publishing, I'll start writing the sexy book. Yaay! LOL.

Because if I wasn't interested to see his Sweet Room drama (which was very sensual and Narimiya-san is really sexxay and hot /sweat )  I wouldn't be interested to know more about TVXQ/Tohoshinki :D  I was swept away with the song "Stand By U"....  And Jaejoong's voice captured my heart /blush

She just passed the bar exams!

I cannot contain my happiness when I heard the great news yesterday!

Finally, her hard work had paid off!

Now, I can finally call her Atty. Veronica Zandra.

Get Together

After attending the 9G event at Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street, I had another gathering to attend with my workshop classmates at Music 21 Plaza.

I've been looking forward to that day coz I've been wanting to sing again, with a mic, with friends, and with the latest english songs (the likes of Taylor Swift)  and its been a long time since I last sang in a KTV bar :)) I'm a videoke freak to be quite honest! LOL /wahaha .

I did really enjoy the night. So fun! Not going to tell the details though, for I might embarrass myself. :p
