What I got on Valentine's Day

I was so freakin' happy when I finally received the package from Ate Yumi, one of my favorite Pinay writers and  I've been friends with her since 2009 and she's one of my earliest on-line buddy.  She sent me the latest novel of Mr. John Grisham, The Racketeer. And take note, hardbound s'ya! I didn't expect it. Sakto na kasi saken kahit paperback edition siya. At may kasama pa na first book niya sa PHR, kaya I'm really so happy, kasi wala akong copy nung first novel ni Ate Yumi or mas kilala sa PHR as Mandie Lee.

I'm really so grateful for the books she sent me. I feel so ashamed, kasi yung copy lang ng book ko yung binigay ko sa kanya :( Hopefully makabawi ako sa kanya next time. 

Anyway, I'm really happy upon receiving this on Valentine's day. Kahit walang nagbigay saken ng flowers ( di ako bitter) mas gusto ko talaga ang book at mas ma-appreciate ko yun :)

Dear Jun,

I fucking want to be a fucking awesome author of books. Not just about writing romance stories. I want to be a writer who's not afraid of writing in different genres. I want to be like my favorite authors SOMEDAY. Waaaahhhhhhhhh!!!! I wish I have the talent like them. I'm just a frustrated and trying hard one. No matter what I do or no matter how hard I try I couldn't seem to make everything right. Sometimes, I just want to cryyyyyyyyyy.

Currently Reading: The Rainmaker by John Grisham

I'm currently reading this but I stopped even before I get to the climax of the story.  I've heard lots of good praises of this book but I don't know... just got suddenly bored reading this. Maybe because after reading the casts of the movie version, I found out that Claire Danes was one of them. I don't have a personal hate towards Miss Danes, I just...  dislike her. Anyway, I still want to finish this book since a friend of mine said it is good.

Obsession version 3.2 : The Walking Dead Characters

Since I really love and so addicted with The Walking Dead, I decided to write a special entry post about the characters of the said series and what I think about them.

So to you my dear accidental readers, I'm happy to introduce to you all The Walking Dead characters:

Rick Grimes

Rick Grimes— He is the main protagonist of the story. I fucking love Rick Grimes. He’s my most favorite character out of them all. I don’t really like cops in real life but he charmed me. I love the fact that he loves his family so much, his wife Lori and his son Carl. He’s strong and he really knows how to lead his fellow survivors from the zombie apocalypse. From the first season he was a reasonable man and a very kind one to the point of annoying. But I love how his character grows throughout the second and third season. In the 3rd season, he wasn't that kind anymore. He’s out there to kill anyone who would mess up with him. ♥♥♥

Lori Grimes

Lori Grimes— I dislike her. She’s such a slut for cheating on her husband with his best friend Shane. Yeah, I get it that she thought that her husband’s dead. But come on! Bitch Please! She’s supposed to be grieving! She should have waited for at least one year before she accepts another relationship or having sex with Shane. Fuck her! I hate her since the start of the season that I wanted her dead already. But I sympathized with Rick when he broke down, learning that Lori died from giving birth.

Carl Grimes

Carl Grimes— a spoiled brat. LOL. He’s just an annoying kid in season 1&2 but he grows on me throughout season 3. He started to be a bad-ass kid just like his dad. I love what the writers did to his character development.

Shane Walsh

Shane Walsh— like him a little bit. He’s a good fighter, a good leader, but he’s a douche bag. I hate him for stealing a family that is not his own. He seemed really nice at the first season, but I hate how he turned to be the antagonist of season 2.

Andrea

Andrea— she was a tough girl but now she’s… I don’t know. She used to be my favorite female character but she got easily brainwashed by a dick (of the Governor). I couldn’t blame her. The former civil rights attorney needs sex sometimes. Just hate that she seemed to be developing feelings for the fucking Governor.

Glenn Rhee

Glenn Rhee— the Asian boy. He’s my 3rd favorite character in the series. He’s cute and he’s the ultimate zombie bait! What I love about his character development is that now he knows what he’s fighting for. He now has a special person to protect. I’m so glad that he’s finally getting laid.

Maggie Greene

Maggie Greene— at the start of the second season, she was tad annoying. I was thinking that she was like a “tsundere” character (the hot and cold character). She likes Glenn and then she don’t. It kinda frustrates me. But now she knows she loves Glenn and she knows how to fight and she turned out to be a kick-ass girl. Love her now!

Daryl Dixon

Daryl Dixon— he’s my favorite character next to Rick Grimes. He was rude and annoying just like his brother on the first season, but he eventually grows on me! He’s a bad-ass! I totally love his character. From being a rude guy to a compassionate man (although maybe he wasn’t aware of this). He’s tough, he’s good at fighting the zombies and I was really happy when he turned to be Rick’s go-to guy. And he’s really hot, don’t you think so? J

Carol Peletier

Carol— she’s such a burden. She’s weak. I hate her for blaming Rick for her daughter Sophia getting lost. Like hey, it’s your daughter’s fault! She didn’t listen to what Rick told her. It wasn’t Rick’s fault that she got lost. But I was surprised that she now knows how to fight!

T-Dog

T-dog— He’s just T-Dog. I cannot say anything about him. The series would go on and still be a wonderful series even without him. But I salute him for baiting himself just so Carol could escape away from the zombies.

Dale Horvatth

Dale Horvath— he’s so reasonable and righteous to the point of annoying that I wanted to slap this old man’s face hard. He cares so much for Andrea and I was thinking that he likes her more than just a daughter? Glad that he’s dead now.

Michonne

Michonne— she’s good with her sword, but I fucking hate how she only had one facial expression in each episode.

Merle Dixon

Merle Dixon— I hate him. I would never forgive him if he kills his baby brother Daryl.

The Governor

The Governor— I fucking HATE him. I fucking want him to die. I think he is full of greed and lies. I hope Daryl would be saved.

Something...

Walang masyadong something sa buhay ko. Well, hindi kasi ako ang tipo na masyadong nagbo-broadcast about my most personal life on line. So let's skip that part. Hehehe.

Well, ang something lang na masasabi ko ay nakakasawa palang mag-revise ng manuscript. Kelangan ulet-ulet? Nakakainis pero wala akong magagawa kahit umay naumay na ako sa story ni JJ at Louise, I need to make it right para ma-approved na sya ng editor ko. Na malamang sa ngayon ay nakukulitan na rin sa akin. Pero makulit din naman siya. Saka ko na ikukuwento if ma-approve na si JJ *hopefully, crossing fingers*.

I want to write another story, pero hindi kay Curtis Feliciano which I planned originally. May new idea sumagi sa isip ko 2 weeks ago. Medyo hindi ko pa sure kung ipe-pursue ko iyon, since I have this feeling na hindi pang PHR ang peg ng story na naisip ko. Waaaaahhhhh! It seems difficult to write actually. Baka sabihin na naman eh di "hero-material" ang bidang lalaki ko. Basta sa isip ko maganda ang story ni Aidan. Oh yes, my character has a name already. And he's a lawyer :) hihihi. I just hope maisulat ko nang matino ang supposedly story/love story niya.

I need to move on from JJ and Louise!!! Kakasawa na silang dalawa XD
