Movie Date : Man of Steel

And I just couldn't help to take a picture with Superman! :)

I went out with my friend Jackie in SM Megamall to watch Man of Steel yesterday. Since our scheduled time was at 3:40 in the afternoon, We had time to meet my other friend Shyne and we stayed a couple of hours at Chatime (my favorite milk tea place) to kill time. Chika, chika and more chika until 3:00 PM. But deep inside I was really excited to enter the cinema. You already know how long I've been waiting for this movie! Since last year, so yeah, was really happy when we finally entered the cinema.

My thoughts about the Man of Steel... it was good as I expected. With Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer and Zach Snyder behind it, I knew it from that start that it's going to kick-ass. And it did. I'm so happy for Henry because there are a lot of people in the cinema *grins wide*. I'm such a proud fangirl!

Anyways, during the first half, in the planet Krypton, I cannot help but be reminded of LOTR/The Hobbit. I mean the effects. It looks a lot like something done by someone who did the effects for the movies I've mentioned. Alas! I was right! I googled last night and found out that the special effects were also done by Weta Digital. Kaya pala.

Like what my Friend said on Twitter last night, Man of Steel is not a Superhero movie, it is the story of Clark Kent. Yes, I agree. Man of Steel is about Clark Kent’s backstory and how he started to become Superman. You may find the ending bitin. And I believe that there's going to be a sequel of it. And I read from somewhere that there's a sequel in the making together with a Justice League movie! *squeals in excitement* I just hope if there's really ever a Justice League movie, Henry Cavill will still play as Superman *crosses finger*.

I'm sorry for saying this... I really love Henry and you guys know how much I do but...I think there's still something lacking with his...uhm...acting. He is really good to stare/gape at because he is really hot, sexy, and good-looking and all that, but his usual frowning really bothers me. I've seen this on him so many times in the movies and TV series I've watched him. I'm expecting to see something different from him in this movie but...well, how can I say this? I want to see more emotions, facial expressions from him and he kind of disappoints me on this. I'm not the only one who thinks about this, yeah?

But I think Henry Cavill suits to be this new era's Superman. Well, I really hope in the second installment, we'll see something new and he improved~

And by the way, if there’s an actor who standout for me in this movie, I would have to say that it’s Michael Shannon who plays General Zod.

All in all, I like the movie. I love the action scenes and the special effects. They really put their utmost effort for this. This reboot is generally awesome! I actually want to watch it again, in 3D or IMAX the next time.

Can't effin' wait for tomorrow!!

I am so effin' excited for tomorrow's Philippine premiere of Man of Steel!!!! I just can't wait for this day/night to end.

I'm so FUCKIN' excited to watch Man of Steel. In case I haven't  told you yet, among all superheroes, SUPERMAN is my favorite of them all. It's not because Henry Cavill is the new Superman. I've always liked him ever since...and I mean Superman. So, yuzzz, I'm really really excited about this film! I just can't wait for June 12 (it will be shown here in my country in the same day as Independence day!) 8D

It's December...

yep.

Time flies really so fast! It's December again and we're about to end the year 2012. Pero sa lahat yata ng December or Christmas season na narasan ko in my 26 years of existence, ito na yata ang December na pang-summer ang klima. It's supposed to be cold and chilly already, pero ang init-init pa rin!

Anyways, since it's December na nga, let's make way of December! It's the time of Christmas parties, gift-givings, reunions and whatnot. And this time of the year, ngayon lang punong-puno ang weekends schedules ko. Imagine, para na akong celebrity sa dami ng rampa ko for this month! XD

What's so good about this season? Siyempre ang walang katapusang chibugan (mapigilan ko sana ang self ko) and of course ang matatanggap na regalo! I've already told my friends of my wishlist so I'm just waiting for the day of the gift-giving :D .

I've so many things to accomplish for this month. I'd already posted this from my previous blog entry but here they are again:

1. Finish watching The Tudors.
2. The Vampire Diaries and Sherlock marathon.
3. Read tons of books.
4. Watch Henry Cavill, Christian Bale, Ben Barnes and Tom Hiddleston (my new Brit crush) movies.
5. I want to write again.... but that depends on my mood and my willingness to write Curtis's story. I need to plot and outline his story para hindi ako maligaw. I tried writing a chapter for his story when I had an overnight writing session with my friend last weekend but I find it #EpicFail. Hindi ako natuwa sa sinulat ko. It's not what I wanted to happen, eh. So yeah, I'll erase my chapter one and make a new one. Iyong ikakatuwa ko. LOL.

I hope I could do all the things listed here. GANBARIMASU!

I have a new crush! And he's non-other than Henry Cavill, a 29 year old Bristish actor. I haven't swooned over any Hollywood actor for the longest time because I'm busy ogling and adoring Japanese idols, but these past few days after discovering Henry, I can't help drooling, swooning and obsessing over him. Well, you can't blame me. Every. Piece. Of. Him. is very DELECTABLE.

So as of the moment, Asian Idols don't exist in my world. /HAHAHA
As of now, I won't say that I'm officially his fan but I'm officially head over heels in lust with him /LOL . I haven't watched any of his works. But I have plans of watching "The Tudors", I already have the copy of the first season. I've heard that he was great in that series! And he had a lot of, excuse me, convincing sex (scenes). Isn't that a must watch?

Oh and I must not forget to include that he's the next Superman (so glad that they get rid of the awkward red underwear outside the costume) which will premiere 2013.06.13. Among all  Superheroes, Superman is my favorite, so yeah, I'm definitely going to watch it next year :)
